I move to China in 5 weeks!!!
Actually counting the weeks makes it seem super duper close. As in… HOLY CRAP I HAVE 50 BAGILLION THINGS TO DO, WHAT DO I PACK, WHAT DO I WEAR, DO I NEED INSURANCE, I NEED BUSINESS CARDS, IS IT COLD IN SHANGHAI, OMG.
But I’m not freaking out just yet.
Because I’m going on a family vacation!
We are driving to North Carolina tomorrow afternoon (omg I need to pack, is it cold in Highlands?) and will be there for a week. I could not be more excited to spend time with my family in the mountains. I love North Carolina so much and know it will be a relaxing week in nature. I plan to enjoy every second of it! Need to get my nature fix before moving to one of biggest cities in the world.
No big deal.
Plus I get to meet Lindsay!
Lindsay says she is a hugger and to be prepared. I love hugging… in theory. In actuality I have this problem as a tall person where I manage to sock people in the face with my shoulder and arm. Since most people are shorter than me I do the hunch over move which brings my shoulder to their face. Like it is a legitimate problem that happens all. the. time. It’s goes form “oh let’s hug” to “oh sorry for squishing your face”.
So Lindsay. Beware. It’s not you it’s me.
Monday I drove straight from work to the gym so I could get in some quick cardio before training my client. The weather cooperated a little better this time.
I managed to bike for 30 minutes and stretch for a bit before my client arrived. Then we had another fantastic session!
My client is such a champ. He goes above and beyond what I ask him to do and surprises me with extra reps or extra high intensity. That’s the right attitude! He told me that he won his tennis tournament this weekend and that our sessions are really helping. This makes me so happy! He also said that now he gets sore from too much “inactivity” which is a big change from before. I told him that’s why there are so many crazy exercise addicted people out there .
Once you pop the fun don’t stop!
Okay time to pack. For real.
