One of the things I love most about Florida is the year-round sunshine. You just can’t avoid it. I happen to avoid it pretty well with my 9-5 office job but get outside as often as I can. You know a nifty thing about sunlight? It creates contrast. Although my photography professor scorned pictures of shadows because of their lack of creativity, I love pictures of shadows. The way the sun project everything into a two dimensional shape is incredibly satisfying. So here it is, a shadow picture. Of something essentially Floridian. I just couldn’t resist.
