Last Saturday was an all day field study for Nordic Mythology class. It was long and exhausting but interesting. We saw sooo much stuff… the Roskilde Viking ship museum, a burial mound, Viking settlement remains, ship settings, and even the site where Beowulf’s hall might have stood. Thankfully it did not rain. After the trip, Tom and I went over to Jackie and Liz’s place and cooked a delicious meal of chicken quesedillas and homemade guacamole. Good laughs and good times.
Sunday night was another adventure. I watched High School Musical 3 with Bella and basically died. It was so good and so happy! Excuse my pre-teen girl tendencies, but that was a wonderful movie. I immediately bought the album and have been listening to it on the train ever since, embarrassed that some Dane next to me might hear it and wonder what is wrong with me. Oh well.
Today is another field study for Nordic Mythology to the National Museum where we will see the exhibition of Danish prehistory. Awesome! Then I go and see Milk at the Dagmar movie theater with my film class. Thursday and Friday I am going to work hard, go to class, and wait for Alexi’s arrival at noon Saturday!! I can barely contain my excitement. Will keep posting!
