Day 13

Florida weather is so strange. Suddenly it is cold again. As the day went on I put a trench coat over my summer dress and squeezed the belt tightly around my waist. This does nothing for my legs. Or my toes. But I’m used to not feeling my toes in most climates and have kept faith that their excessive length will keep them functioning out of sheer oddity. In lieu of an approaching benefit football game, I was driving around the city, dropping off tickets like a happy elf with frost bitten toes. During a delivery I saw David’s truck and advertisement in a hospital parking lot. God speed to you David. And the rodents you find.

Alive or dead.
