Day 205: Thank You and Booty Call

Thank you everybody for your support and kind words about my big announcement! I am so excited to embark on this adventure and intend to share every moment with you all.

Right now I am looking at flights in September and feel surprisingly calm about everything. This idea has been brewing in my head for so long that it seems like the obvious next step. I’m sure once I start packing it will seem more real. But overall, I am just excited!

China, here I come!

Daily Workout

 

Tuesday was another workout from Tina’s awesome Best Body Bootcamp. Guys, this workout was no joke. My legs felt sore and exhausted almost immediately which has not happened in a while. Afterwards I made sure to roll out my hips with a tennis ball which definitely helped. Except my poor booty! It is so sore again.

Check out this fascinating article from David Fleming on ESPN, “The Call of the Booty“. He talks about how the glutes are the most important part of an athlete’s body. Strong glutes equals better performance. This makes total sense. And is totally awesome. I love to work my glutes! It’s nice to know that there is a functional purpose in addition to the visual benefits ;-). Ladies if you want to lift the booty, you gotta get down and do some squats and deadlifts. Move like your body intended!
