Saturday, October 13th
This day our group from the cruise had a BBQ at Pete and Lisa’s apartment. The weather was gorgeous and we sat outside all evening enjoying the weather and each other’s company. With mosquito killing racquet in hand, we chatted all night, cooking and eating lots of good food. It was so nice to have a normal American BBQ with grilled meat, salad, corn on the cob, and dessert of course.
We put my cruise pictures up as a slideshow for everyone to see and I learned that when I get nervous I have laughing attacks. I was really nervous showing my pictures and started dying laughing when Berri said, “And there’s the big dong!” in reference to the gong at the temple. I was laughing so hard I was crying.
We ended up staying till well past midnight. It was such a good day and I wished it would never end.
I can’t wait for our next BBQ in China.
